
In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, the genealogy websites MyHeritage.com and Ancestry.com will offer free access to their Irish records collections. In the 2019 American Community Survey conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau, around 32 Americans identified themselves as being of Irish heritage.
MyHeritage.com will offer its free access offer now through Thursday, March 18, 20201. MyHeritage’s Irish record collection includes around 14 million records of all kinds: census records, vital records, directories, wills, and much more.

Ancestry.com will extend its free access offer now through Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Ancestry.com has over 200 million Irish records including: Church of Ireland vital records; valuation records; Poor Law and Board of Guardian Records and Court of Chancery records.
