The Middle Country Library in Centereach will be hosting a series of classes for Family History Month.

Friday, Oct. 20 – 10 a.m. to noon – Genealogy Drop-In – Work on your family history with guidance from librarians.
Saturday, Oct. 21 – 1-4 p.m. – Everything DNA – Learn about the basic types of DNA testing, how to understand and analyze your results and using third party tools.
Monday, Oct. 23 – 6-8:30 p.m. – Organizeit: Reducing Your Genealogical Clutter – Learn methods of approaching a genealogy project as well as planning for a research trip.
Monday, Oct. 30 – 6-7:30 p.m. – There is Life in Long Island Cemeteries – A visual tour of Long Island cemeteries to see the unusual, famous and infamous gravestones in Nassau and Suffolk counties.
