Forget Me Not Blog Talk Radio, hosted by Jane E. Wilcox, will present and interview of D. Joshua Taylor on Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 3 p.m.

D. Joshua Taylor, new president of the New York Genealogical Society and host of The Genealogy Roadshow, joins Jane to talk about the direction the NYG&B will be taking when its new strategic plan is implemented.

Josh will also talk about his experiences as one of the hosts of the PBS program Genealogy Roadshow. Find out what it’s like behind the scenes for the hosts and more.

Genealogy radio program set for tomorrow

The Forget Me Not Hour Blog Talk Radio Program will present a discussion with author Frank J. Doherty tomorrow, July 6, at 10 a.m.

Frank Doherty is the author of “The Settlers of the Beekman Patent,” a multi-volume series. Host Jane E. Wilcox will discuss the Beekman Patent in Dutchess County, New York, who settled there and what inspired Frank to take on this research project.

Frank will discuss how he tackled the research, what records he used and what changes he made in the books as he became more seasoned. He’ll also share some stories about the families and the research.
