British Isles Research Seminar to be offered in March

The Family History Library in Salt Lake City will present a free British Isles Research Seminar on March 13-17, 2017.

You need not be in Salt Lake City to attend the classes. You will need to register online even if you are attending online. When registering, you must check all the days you wish to attend.

Legacy Family Tree Webinars will present a free webinar this Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 2 p.m. entitled “Researching Your Ancestors in England and Wales.”

With increased digitization of genealogical records in England and Wales, documents relating to your ancestors are far more readily available but how are the records structured? Where are they located? And what information can be gleaned from these primary sources?

Taking you through the basics by examining record groups including censuses, civil registration, parish registers and probate, presenter Kirsty Gray will highlight the online and offline resources available for researching in the last four centuries in England and Wales.
