Chemung – – The Chemung Valley Museum is located in Elmira. The museums has personal and family papers, unofficial records of births, marriages and death and burials and a searchable manuscript catalog.
-The Chenago Historical Society is located in Norwich. Some of the items available are census records, cemetery records, will directories, vital statistics and family files. – The Delaware County Historical Association is located in Delhi. The archives had family bibles, published genealogies and some church records.

Otsego – The New York State Historical Association is located in Cooperstown. Some of the items available are: church and cemetery records, newspaper indexes, genealogies of New York families and an online library catalog.

Schuyler – The Schuyler County Historian’s Office is located in Watkins Glen. The office has among its records, information regarding local churches, cemeteries and businesses. – The Steuben County Historian’s office is located in Bath. There is information about burial records, census indexes and records of probate from 1790-1900. – The Tioga County Historical Society is located in Owego. The library has over 300,000 cards in its surname index file. The index covers a variety of material that is in the library. – The History Center is located in Ithaca. Some of the resources available are: family genealogy files, obituary listings, cemetery listings, death and marriage notices, Ithaca city directories and census records.
