Genessee – The Genesee County History Department, located in Batavia, includes: cemetery records, church records, family history files, military records, obituaries and an index of marriage certificates. – The County Historian’s office in Mount Morris contains: cemetery files, church records, family files, maps and veterans’ files. – The Rochester Historical Society will provide research assistance for family history inquiries. The historical society library has many books of genealogical interest.

Ontario – The Ontario County Historical Society has among its collection: cemetery records, church records, family genealogies, military records, surname files, and a vital records index. – The Geneva Historical Society has surname files, church records, cemetery records, funeral home records and an index of city vital records. – The Interlaken Historical Society has church records, cemetery records, family histories and marriage and death notices from local newspapers. – The office of the County Historian, located in Lyons, has land records, cemetery records and wills and estate records.

Wyoming – The Warsaw Historical Society has a database of burials for the Warsaw Cemetery and a database of its family histories. – The Yates County History Center, located in Penn Yan, has cemetery records, marriage and death records, area directories (1889-1990), area maps, surname file, the Village of Penn Yan Vital Statistics Register from 1876-1993 (on microfilm) and a link to the Penn Yan Democrat Birth, Marriage and Death Index.
