National Archives to host virtual genealogy fair

2017 National Archives Virtual Genealogy Fair will take place on October 25, 2017. The event will be broadcast live on YouTube and is free of charge.

10 a.m. – Welcoming remarks
10:05 a.m. – Taking Care of Your Family Heirlooms
11 a.m. – 19th Century Ancestors in Tax Assessment Records
12 noon – From the Cradle to the Grave: Birth, Childhood and Death records in the National Archives at St. Louis
1 p.m. – A is Archives, B is for Burn File: Accessing Burned Records at the National Archives in St. Louis
2 p.m. – Locating the Relocated: Deciphering Electronic Records on Japanese Americans Interned During World War II
3 p.m. – Beyond the WRA: Finding Japanese Relocatees in Other Records
4 p.m. – Closing Remarks
