This month’s topic will be “The Rest of the Story: Finding Your Family in Online Newspapers” presented by
Janeen Bjork.

Janeen applies to genealogy the skills she developed in a 30-year career as a television researcher. Her own family tree is illustrated with newspaper stories that range from the mundane to the sensational. In this presentation, she will discuss some of the characters she has discovered and to the research methods that made it possible for her to find and preserve their legacies.
