Jewish Genealogy Society of Long Island to meet Sunday

The Jewish Genealogy Society of Long Island will meet on Sunday, May 28, from 2-4 p.m. at the Y-JCC in Plainview.

This month’s topic will be “Critical and Creative Thinking for Genealogists” by Ron Arons.
Much attention has been paid in recent years to the standards of proof used by professional genealogists. But until now, no experts have discussed how to THINK. Ron Arons will discuss the best ideas from leaders in the field and will discuss strategies and tactics to improve the thinking and creativity we apply to solving genealogical problems.

Ron is the author of three books – “Mindmaps for Genealogists”, “The Jews of Sing Sing” and “WANTED! U.S. Criminal Records.”
