Italian Genealogy Group to meet this Saturday

The Italian Genealogy Group will meet this Saturday, May 13, at the Bethpage Public Library.

There will be a Help Session beginning at 9:30 a.m. The monthly program will begin at 10:30 a.m.

This month’s program will be “From Italy to South America: Why, When and How to Find Information about our Relatives” presented by Joel Cole.

Joel started as a researcher for the Italian Genealogical Institute in 2000, and then became the director of the institute. He worked for Ancestry.com as the content acquisition manager in Italy from 2005 to 2009 and moved to Salt Lake City to work for Familysearch in 2015.
