Two free genealogy webinars will be presented this week.

The Wisconsin State Genealogical Society will present “Principles of Effective Evidence Anaylsis” on Tuesday, June 21 at 8 p.m.

Evidence comes in many forms and with varying amounts of content. This webinar focuses on analyzing evidence for reliable and less-than-reliable information. Learn about types of source materials – original vs. derivative – and the differences between primary and secondary information. Print. vs. electronic media are considered throughout and evaluation of source citations to help determine evidence weight and reliability is stressed.
