The Georgia Genealogical Society will present “DAR Genealogical Research System” at 8 p.m. Since the DAR was founded in 1890, one of the 3 main goals of the organization has been to promote historical preservation. A variety of records have been digitized and made available to the public in the form of several different databases and resources accessible through the DAR Genealogical Research System (GRS). This presentation will help researchers understand how to access and search the GRS and how to evaluate the different types of records included in the GRS.
