Free access to military databases from

To commemorate Memorial Day, is offering free access to two of its military databases NOW through Wednesday, May 27 to guest users.

The two databases that will be available are:

*Colonial Soldiers and Officers in New England, 1620-1775
*Massachusetts Revolutionary War Pensioners’ Receipts 1799-1807 and 1829-1837

The Colonial Soldiers and Officers in New England database contains over 35,000 records of service for individuals in Massachusetts who served from the seventeenth century to the Battle of Lexington and Concord. These records were compiled from many different sources to create as comprehensive a list as possible.

The Revolutionary War Pensioners’ Receipts contains images of the receipts, including the original signatures or marks of the pensioners.
