German Genealogy Group to meet Thursday

The German Genealogy Group will meet this Thursday, April 2, at the Hicksville V.F.W.

The program, which begins at 7:30 p.m., will be “German Case Study” and the speaker will be Richard Haberstroh. The lecture will be a detailed account of a German-American research project, in which the family of a son of German immigrants is identified and traced back to their hometown in Europe. The talk will highlight the wide variety of records that were used in the research.

There will be an orientation session at 7 p.m.
