Three genealogy meetings this weekend

Three local genealogy groups will be meeting this weekend.

On Sat., Jan. 25, the Brentwood Genealogists will meet at 10 a.m. at the Brentwood Public Library.

The topic will be “Can I Do My Genealogy On My Tablet?” The library is located at 34 Second Avenue.

Also on Saturday, the Patchogue-Medford Genealogy Group will meet at the Patchogue-Medford Library.

There will be a help session at 9:30 a.m. and then a speaker at 10 a.m. The topic will be “Canadian Genealogy Research.” The library is located at 54-60 E. Main Street in Patchogue.

On Sunday, Jan. 26, the Jewish Genealogy Society of Long Island will meet at 2 p.m. at the Mid Island JCC-Y.

The topic will be “Organizit: Reducing Your Paper and Digital Clutter.” The Mid Island JCC-Y is located at 45 Manetto Hill Road, Plainview.
